Tamsin began writing in the late 70’s,
working with companies such as Lumiere and Son, Monstrous Regiment,
Cliffhanger and Complicite. She enjoyed the process of writing
through improvisation and devising. Several pieces originally
for theatre, were then adapted and performed for television.
Has also written a half hour radio play and wrote and co-directed
a documentary about rubbish dumps and scavengers of extraordinary
objects. Editing and adapting are an integral part of her acting
work – a skill often recognised when companies are casting
her. Also medical role plays and instruction sections for Oxford
University. Tamsin’s most recent credit is the BBC children’s
series THE FIMBLES.
