Katie Williams

Katie Williams is an Australian Actor/Puppeteer and Puppet Maker. She trained as a Puppeteer at the Curious School of Puppetry (UK) and as a Puppet Maker at NIDA (AU) . Whilst living in Australia, Katie worked professionally as a Puppeteer for theatre and as a Performer with Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre.

Katie relocated to the UK three years ago to pursue a career in Puppetry. Since moving to the UK Katie has worked professionally with many high profile companies (Warner Bros, Disney, HBO, Atlantic Records, Aardman, Brunskill & Grimes, Little Angel Theatre and Dead Puppet Society).

She has further developed her skills as a Puppeteer by training with the Curious School of Puppetry. Working with some of the best in the industry (Sarah Wright, Ronnie Le-Drew & Toby Olie), Katie has trained professionally in Table-top, Hand & Rod, Marionettes & Glove Puppetry for both theatre and screen.

Most recently Katie worked as an Assistant Puppeteer for a series of Ed Sheeran Idents for Atlantic Records and as a Puppet Maker for Wes Anderson’s feature ‘Isle of Dogs’.
