Parkey Abeyratne

With a background in Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre, Parkey has a unique and eclectic foundation of skills from the ground to the air.

An accomplished aerial rope and silks artist, experienced harness, wirework and stunt rigging performer by air and a firm grounding as an actor with strong physicality and puppetry.

Notable stage credits include: Spitting Image Live at Phoenix Theatre West End, Philip Glass’ Opera ‘Satyagraha’ at LA Opera and London Coliseum ENO under the direction of Improbable’s Phelim McDermott and Sally Cookson’s version of ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ as an original ensemble cast member, at Leeds Playhouse and Bridge Theatre.

With an impressive repertoire of experiences in Theatre, Parkey is focused on transferring these accolades to the TV and Film industry also.
